Review: I’ve been going to see George for over a year now and absolutely love this salon. The scheduling is easy, whether you do it online or on the phone, they send text or email confirmations and reminders, prices are reasonable, and atmosphere is amazing!They also use lightly scented products and don’t go overboard with the heat, both big pluses in my opinion.Hair type: I have long, very thick hair so I do have to call to book my session since I typically need a full hour rather than a half- hour session.I also have had a lot of conversation with George on what cut works best for my length goals and a very realistic conversation about color when it comes to cost and upkeep.

Review: Definitely go here!!! I’m from NY and wish I could travel to get my hair cut here all the time.I found SOK after an appointment fell through at another salon. Tim helped me over the phone and found an available appointment for the next day. I was, initially, looking to get a perm because my wavy/frizzy hair was driving me crazy, but Tim and Ayah were considerate and professional in their expertise over the phone and convinced me that I only needed a curly cut, some education on how to care for my curls and the correct product/routine.Suffice to say, they were completely right. Ayah not only gave me an AMAZING cut that transformed my hair, she was also so kind, fun and went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable. They gave me the right products and sent me off with some education on how to keep my hair healthy.Thank you SOK! <3

Review: Jayden is fabulous! Great haircut/style and conversation. I’ve received more complements about my hair in the past year than I have my entire life! I love the environment at SOK too –I try to get there a little early to enjoy some tea… Shampooing chairs have a massage feature… I also enjoy the view of colorful fabric umbrellas on the ceiling while getting a shampoo and glaze. Review: I am so thankful I have met Tammy on my curly hair journey. I have struggled for over 30 years to find someone who knows how to cut and treat my curls. From the very first visit she educated me on the do’s and don’ts for my hair type. She is always flexible and willing to listen to my needs. Review: Sarah did an excellent job at explaining all the options I had for cutting and lightening my hair. She made me feel welcome, and I really enjoyed the experience! The vibe of the salon was chill, and the option to have a beverage during your service is definitely a plus! I set up a future appointment, so will definitely be back to SOK!
