Review: I have seen Erica twice now. I have been searching for someone new to cut my hair and to give me bangs (not everyone can cut bangs). She did a great job on the cut and I decided to go back to have her fix my hair color. Another salon I went to did a horrible job on my hair and I was left with a rainbow of blue, green, yellow and orange. Erica was very patient and worked magic! She was able to remove most of the old color and give me the color I wanted. HUGE THANKS and I’m happy I found a new salon!

Review: Erica was so wonderfully nice and amazing!! I found her after my previous stylist quit. I have long hair and bangs, and it was super scary to have to find someone new to trust with my hair. Erica listened to me in depth, and my hair is exactly how I want it, and completely gorgeous! I’ve also gotten lots of compliments since the new cut. I’m so grateful to find someone so great!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Review: Erica is absolute angel. I was recently in an accident in which I was on my bike and someone hit me with their truck. I was unable to move my arm and therefore could not wash my hair. My hair was absolutely filthy after being in the hospital and unable to move and do things. I called Salon in the Heights to ask if they would wash my hair. I felt embarassed about asking for help or for that kind of service. Upon arrival, Erica was so kind and welcoming and did an amazing job washing my hair even using specific shampoo and conditioner to treat my color and greasy hair. Not only did she care for my hair but she also provided a space of loving and listening support for me during my appointment when I was having a really rough time after being exposed to such a scary and physical trauma. She’s an angel. She hyped me up and had me feeling like a whole new woman and like I was ready to take on the world. She’s basically a therapist as well. Thank you for being in our community and caring for customers in such a personal, thoughtful and generous way. Highly recommend this place and these people.

Review: I have lived in Houston for going on 5 years and never even looked for a hair stylist, because I’ve been scarred before. My hair is often hip-length straight (waist length curly) and very thick, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had stylists cut if off and claim that ‘it’s still long’, even when I specifically stated no more than a couple of inches.Erica was recommended to me by a friend, and I am SO glad she was. She was wonderful. She even cut less than I initially said, just to make sure I was sure, given my prior experiences.She also took her time on my hair, and it came out beautifully at the end. I received a ton of compliments on my hair after she cut it, and it looks so much healthier now.Also, just to tell you how great of a person Erica is, when I gave her my tip, she told me it was a lot, and wanted to confirm that I was sure. She was definitely worth that tip, and she’s worth trying!
